Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Antoinette May

Antoinette May (nee Panaro) of Mamaroneck died on October 14, 2009 at age 77, surrounded by her family. Antoinette was born on March 18, 1932 to Salvatore and Veronica (nee Gentile) Panaro. She worked as a legal secretary for many years for Sirlin & Sirlin, retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Mamaroneck Senior Center.

Beloved wife of 54 years to Charles R. May, Cherished mother of Stephen May (wife Marguerite), Robert May (wife Julianne), Janice Savage (husband Michael) John May (wife Krissy) and Denise Barrese (husband Joseph) Devoted grandmother of Nicole, Stephanie, Christopher, Dylan, Brian, Charlie, Michael, Jack, Taylor, Amanda, Dawson and Colton, loving sister of Doreen DelBianco (husband Joseph) and Adrienne Grier (husband Harry) and William Panaro (wife Mary Louise). Antoinette was a caring, warm and kind hearted woman who had a great love for her family. She will be greatly missed by all.

Reposing on Saturday, October 17 and Sunday, October 18 from 2 to 4 pm & 7 to 9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Monday, October 19 at 10 A.M. at Most Holy Trinity R. C. Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
