Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Angelo R. Ricozzi

Angelo R. “Skee” Ricozzi, formerly of Mamaroneck, died January 20, 2010 at age 91. Born October 17, 1918 to Eduardo & Philomena Ricozzi, he graduated Mamaroneck High School in 1937 and served in the Army during WWII. Skee worked as a Plumber for UA Local #86. He was a member of the GI Civics Association and is remembered as an avid golfer. Beloved husband of the late Genevieve (Ruggiero) Ricozzi.

Survived by his loving daughters, Phyllis Viola (Robert), Angela Pennucci (David) and Jeanne Marcone (Joseph). Dear grandfather of Robert Viola (Maureen), Audra Viola, Allison Croshier (Aaron), Rebecca Pennucci, Monica, Michael & Jeffrey Marcone, and great grandfather of Morgan & CJ Viola and Nathan Croshier. Dear brother of the late Alexander, Lawrence, Nicholas & Joseph Ricozzi, Mary Ricozzi, Margaret Caralyus, Santa Prohaska, Jeanne Trifiletti and Ann Lambiasi.

Visitation Friday, January 22 from 3-8pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 23 at 10am at St. Vito’s RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Vito’s Church or the Mamaroneck Volunteer Fire Department.
