Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

Alfred Moccia

Alfred Moccia, of New Milford, CT and formerly of Mamaroneck, died January 3, 2009 at age 71. Born in the Bronx on October 27, 1937, he was a veteran of the US Army. A lover of animals, he was the owner of Pet Food Depot. Alfred also owned and operated the Cafeteria at Mutual of Omaha in Rye.

He is the beloved husband of the late Irene. Survived by his stepchildren, Barbara Smith (Stephen) and David Riga, nieces, Carla Moccia-Paribello and Patricia Hayde (Joe), nephews John Moccia (Denise) and John Ricciardi, three grandnephews and four grandnieces.

Memorial Gathering Friday, January 9 from 5-8 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, (914) 698-5968. Memorial Mass Saturday, January 10 at 11 AM at St. Francis Xavier in New Milford, CT.
