Alfred (“Fred”) R. Citrone

Word has been received of the death of Alfred (“Fred”) R. Citrone of Sedona, Arizona, formerly of Mamaroneck and Harrison, on Monday, January 10, 2011. Mr. Citrone was born and raised in Mamaroneck, son of the late Marco and Adele Citrone.

He served as a Staff Sergeant in the army During World War II while stationed in Japan. He was the Past Grand Knight of the Mamaroneck Knights of Columbus and was also a Fourth Degree Knight.

Mr. Citrone is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Giordano) Citrone and his adoring children, his son, Fred, and his daughter, Patti Ann (Cliff) Myers and his “adopted” son, Jerry Verratti, all of Sedona. He is also survived by his sister, Evelyn Citrone Enslow of Washington, his loving sisterin-law, Joan Cosentino of Mamaroneck, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, January 15, at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Vianney Church, Sedona, Arizona.
