Children at Mamaroneck Avenue School put together reading, writing and puppets on Tuesday, October 13. That’s when puppet person Michelle Carrigan visited their classrooms to show the children how to create their own puppets and bring them to life .
The puppet class was part of a series sponsored by the school’s PTA Cultural Arts committee. The workshops followed a puppet show presentation of “The Elephant’s Child,” Rudyard Kipling’s famous story of how elephants got their long noses.
