Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

No School or Recycle, Trains on Snow Schedule

With blizzard conditions predicted, officials have already canceled school and after-school activities for Wednesday, February 10. There will be no recycling picked up this week in the Town of Mamaroneck.

Also closed for the storm will be Larchmont’s Village Hall.

Update: Wednesday morning, Larchmont awoke to several inches of wet snow, with more coming down at a fast clip. At mid-day, the wind was picking up and heavier bands of snow were approaching. Another 7 to 12 inches could fall before the storm moves out later this evening, according to the National Weather Service.
