Gazette Ceases Publication: Donates Archives to LHS

In 2010, the Larchmont Gazette ceased publication. In 2011 the publishers donated all contents to the Larchmont Historical Society, which will continue to make the Gazette archives available online.

MHS vs Lakeland/Panas On Demand + LMC's 20 Game Schedule

LMC-TV has set its broadcast schedule for the spring 2010 interscholastic sports season at Mamaroneck and Rye Neck High Schools.

In addition, thanks to LMC-TV, sports fans may now view the Mamaroneck varsity hockey game against Lakeland/Panas on demand. Click the play button below to start watching the game.

LMC’s first game of the spring season will be filmed on March 23, when the Mamaroneck Girls Lacrosse team faces off with Pearl River.  That game will air the weekend of March 26.  (See below for the full schedule).

The two-time defending New York State Class AA State Championship Mamaroneck baseball team will take to the diamond in front of LMC-TV cameras on April 5, when they play Centennial (Maryland) High School at Mamaroneck High School, in a game scheduled to air the weekend of April 9. LMC-TV will also feature Mamaroneck baseball games against Gorton and White Plains.

LMC-TV is scheduled to film its first game at Rye Neck on April 7, when the defending Section 1 Class B Runner-up Rye Neck Softball team faces John Jay (Cross River), in a game scheduled to air on April 9.

The Rye Neck baseball team, featuring star pitcher Ryan Pennell, will play defending New York State Class B State Runner-up Dobbs Ferry on April 9, in a game scheduled to be broadcast the weekend of April 16. Games against Keio Academy, Pleasantville, Valhalla, and Rye Country Day will round out a five-game broadcast schedule of Rye Neck baseball this spring.

LMC-TV will also broadcast three games each of Mamaroneck softball and boys lacrosse, including contests against Irvington, Eastchester, and the Tigers softball in-season tournament.
