The Mamaroneck Public Library, in cooperation with the Westchester Library System, announces a new stop on its bookmobile route. The Hispanic Resource Center will welcome the bookmobile at its new location – 623 Mamaroneck Avenue. The bookmobile will be especially well stocked with Spanish language materials for all ages. Patrons will be able to get a library card, use the Internet and browse for books, CDs and DVDs in the bookmobile.
With its main building undergoing renovation and expansion, the Mamaroneck Public Library is taking advantage of its partnership with the Westchester Library System to add bookmobile services. The bookmobile is funded by WLS but Mamaroneck materials are added to the stock of available materials.
“I am pleased to see the bookmobile continue to stop at the Strait Gate Church, where the CAP center and day care staff and children are welcome,” said Marcia Hupp, Head Youth Services Librarian. “The library’s summer reading game will reach more children this way”.
Over the summer, the bookmobile will travel on June 8, July 13, and August 10. The new schedule for summer bookmobile service is:
