Community members with fresh ideas were discouraged from serving unless they supported the party line. I think that the Selection Committee can actually discourage and intimidate smart, free thinkers from seeking office during a time when we need them the most. The current selection committee will probably only encourage candidates who support the Princeton Plan, their newest agenda to impose on the community.
