		<description>Having served on the selection committee years ago, I now see how we were merely a vehicle to do the Superintendent&#039;s and the Board&#039;s bidding since they were vetted with regard to directions that the Board wanted to take.  Community members with fresh ideas were discouraged from serving unless they supported the party line.

I think that the Selection Committee can actually discourage and intimidate smart, free thinkers from seeking office during a time when we need them the most.  The current selection committee will probably only encourage candidates who support the Princeton Plan, their newest agenda to impose on the community.</description>
