Members of the Woman's Club are involved in study and discussion groups which cover literature, education, fine arts and topics of public interest; social activities include book club and bridge; raises funds for many fields of caring in our community. Recipients of Woman's Club assistance include the Hunger Task Force, I CARE, the Youth Employment Service, My Sister's Place, Student Aid Fund, Westchester Medical Center. A particular emphasis placed on reaching out to women's help groups.
WHO: No residency requirements but usually attract Larchmont women; must be sponsored by one member and seconded by two others.
WHEN: 3rd Friday, 1:30 pm, Sept-May.
WHERE: Larchmont Avenue Church for regular meetings followed by a program; other meetings are held in the VFW facility on the Post Road.
COST: $50 annual membership dues plus $10 initiation fee.
