Social, recreational and educational services for seniors. Programs and activities generally decided by the membership, with professional staff assistance. In addition to informal activities, scheduled activities include:
• Mondays - exercise classes
• Tuesdays/Thursdays - bridge
• Wednesdays - painting classes
• Fridays - entertainment (often music)
Minibus transport from home to center available to residents of Larchmont and the Town of Mamaroneck. Minibus also takes Larchmont members shopping Wednesdays or Thursdays, and to medical appointments Tuesday mornings. For transporation please call Community Services at 381-7840
WHO: All seniors 60 years and older. There are currently 100 members. Average daily attendance about 45.
WHEN: Monday - Friday, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm.
COST: $12 annual contribution suggested.
Additional Information: The center also has a craft group, which (in addition to other pursuits) contributes crafted goods for sale at an annual October fund-raising bazaar.
