LATIMER MAKES CASE TO VOTERS
(October 30, 2008) I've been greatly encouraged by the width and
depth of support I've
received in my race for a third term to the State Assembly in the
91st A.D. The people of Rye Brook, Port Chester, Rye, Mamaroneck,
Larchmont and New Rochelle know my work on advancing sensible tax
relief, flood remediation, environment and transportation issues,
efforts for seniors and for our children in healthcare and education.
I've been endorsed by The Sierra Club, the NY League of Conservation
Voters, with a 100% voting record on the environment. I've supported
nearly every major reform bill advanced by the State League of Women
Voters to clean up Albany. I've been endorsed as well by the Affiliated
Police Association of Westchester, by WCLA, and by groups large
and small who know my hard work, and the real results of that work.
People along the Sound Shore can evaluate for themselves which
candidate in this race is offering thoughtful, specific responses
to our state budget crisis, and which candidate is pandering to
fear and anger. As proof, they should view our debate before the
editorial board by clicking the 91st AD video at www.lohud.com/editorialspotlight
Further, they can review my legislative record of accomplishment
first-hand on line at www.assembly.state.ny.us
and read about the actual bills proposed and passed.I rest my
case with the 35,000+ voters of the Sound Shore, and accept their
ultimate judgment of my public record of service.
