RONNIE BLOOM

Ronnie Bloom, of New Jersey and formerly of Mamaroneck, died November 15, 2008 at age 58. Born in Mamaroneck, he graduated from Mamaroneck High School and from Pace University with honors. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War as a tailgate gunner on B-52's.

Ronnie worked for many years as a NJ State Department employee. Ronnie was known for his generous charity work, often giving assistance to the homeless and handicapped.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine Bloom, daughter Jaclyn Zefutie and her husband, Michael, grandchildren, Adriana and Christian Zefutie, his former wife and friend, Nancy, uncle Ben Fraioli and his wife Antoinette and uncle Sid Bloom and his wife Annette and many close cousins. He is also survived by his companion, Joan Fairbairn, whom he was planning a future with.

A memorial mass will be held on November 21st at 9:30 AM at St Gregory the Great Church 4620 Nottingham Road, Hamilton Sq, NJ. Another memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Vito's RC Church, Mamaroneck, on Saturday, November 29th at 1:00 pm.
