SEVERINO GABRIELE

Severino Gabriele, of Mamaroneck, died November 15, 2008 at age 83. Born in Arpino, Italy on June 12, 1925 to Vincenzo and Angela Gabriele. A master welder, Severino worked on many prominent structures in New York City including the World Trade Center and the Verrazano Bridge. Welding was not only his career but his hobby and his passion and he created many metal sculptures in his spare time.

He is the beloved husband of 51 years of Marissa (Chiaraluce). In addition to his wife he is survived by his devoted sons, Mauro Gabriele (Mary Margaret) and Vincent Gabriele (Susan). Loving brother of Clodomiro Gabriele (Beatrice) and dear grandfather of Ian, Maura, Lucas, Claire, Francesca and Angelina.

Visitation Monday, November 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd, Mamaroneck. (914) 698-5968. Funeral Mass Tuesday, November 18 at 10 AM at St. Vito's RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
