ROSE SERES
Rose Seres died September 21, 2008 at age 91. Rose was born in Hungary in 1917.Rose and her late husband Bela Seres opened Main Hosiery Shop in New Rochelle. She was the proprietor of that store for over fifty years. She was an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Mamaroneck for many years.
Her husband and son, William Thomas Seres, predeceased her. She is survived by her daughter Clara Tracy and her sister Mary Reed. She will be dearly missed by her grandson Lawrence W. Tracy, two great-grandsons, Brian Tracy, Lawrence W. Tracy, Jr., and great-great-granddaughter Kylee Tracy, her two nephews William Reed and Richard Reed, Jr.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 24 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM at O'Neill-Lanza Funeral Home, 422 East Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, NY (914) 698-1012. There will be a funeral service on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 10 AM at St. Thomas' Episcopal Church, 168 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY. Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle, NY at 11:30 AM.
