JOHN J. GARVEY SR.
John J. Garvey, Sr., passed away peacefully at home in New Rochelle with his family by his side on Tuesday August 26, 2008.Jack is survived by his beloved wife Betty, and was a devoted father to his daughters, Kathy Cruickshank, Susan Garvey, Beth Delaney, and is pre-deceased by his son John Garvey, Jr. He was a cherished grandfather to Christopher, Katelyn, Christina, and Grace.
He was an executive at R.H. Macy's for over 25 years, after which he and his wife owned and operated the Severin Real Estate Co. in Larchmont. Jack will always be remembered for his strong belief in God, kindness and love for his family. He will be missed by many friends and loved ones.
Visiting will be held at the Chapel at the Ursuline Provenical Center, 1338 North Ave, New Rochelle on Friday, August 29 at 11:15 AM followed by a funeral mass at noon. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.LloydMaxcy.com
