BERTHE TRAINOR
Berthe E. (Betty) Trainor of Larchmont, N.Y. died on August 17, 2008 at her home of 50 years. She was born on December 8, 1915 in Van Buren, Maine. Betty was the last survivor of 15 siblings.Always active, Betty's lifelong hobby was sewing, as she made all of her own clothing. She shared her talents with many, particularly her friends at the senior center, where in addition to sewing, she produced many crafts including stuffed animals, Christmas trees and quilts. But Betty derived her greatest joy from her family.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara, grandchildren Jo-Ann and Joseph and great granddaughter Grace. Betty's true gift was for making people feel good. She had a kind word for everyone she met and will always be loved and remembered for that.
