MARY HUBBE
Mary E. Hubbe of Mamaroneck, NY died in her home after a lengthy illness on June 23, 2008. She was born on May 21, 1930 in Toronto, Canada to the late Arthur W. Wylie and Elizabeth Thoburn Wylie.In 1949, she graduated from Almonte High School in Almonte, Ontario and subsequently received her R.N. from Western University in London, Ontario. She received her B.S. in Nursing from Pace University and worked as a visiting nurse at Sarah Neuman Nursing Home, and last at the Westchester County Department of Health as a Public Health Nurse.
She loved golf, traveling and gardening. She was a member of the Mamaroneck Garden Club and was a long time member of the Larchmont Avenue Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her loving husband Henry E. Hubbe; two sons John and Michael of Chappaqua, NY and New Canaan, CT; her daughters-in-law, Debbie and Dana; and five grandchildren: Max, Chloe, Nicholas, Conner and Sarah. She had the warmest heart and the kindest smile. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.
