DANA KENDRICK BLOCH

Dana Kendrick Block,a long-time resident of Larchmont, died on June 4th after a long illness at the age of 89. Mrs. Bloch was a native of Denver, graduated from Scripps College and studied Special Education at Bank Street College. She taught at Children's Village in Ossining and was a volunteer in the public school system in Westchester and at Sound Shore Medical Center.

A devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her husband, Joseph Bloch, three children, Leslie Weiss, John and Andrew Bloch, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are private. Contributions in her memory may be sent to Scripps College, Claremont, CA and to The Juilliard School, New York, NY.
