BERNARD DETHOMAS

Bernard DeThomas, formerly of Mamaroneck, passed away June 1, 2008 in Alabama where he resided for several years. He was 81and was born June 28, 1926 in the Bronx to William and Consiglia DeThomas.

Bernard served in the Army during WWII and was the recipient of a Bronze Star. He worked for many years as a repair tech for Norman Kilns located in both Mamaroneck and Port Chester.

Beloved husband of the late Clare (Hanson). Cherished father of Richard DeThomas, Frank DeThomas (Lori), Peggy Nero (Bill) and the late Paul DeThomas. Loving grandfather of William Nero Jr., Cara DeFonce, Jessica DeThomas, Allison DeThomas and Wesley DeThomas, great grandfather of five, dear brother of Frank and Samuel DeThomas, Francis Ciavolella and Antoinette Hyman and the late Vincent DeThomas.

Visitation Thursday, June 5 from 5 to 9 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Prayer service Friday, June 6 at 10:30 AM at funeral home followed by Interment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
