CAROL ANN ZEIDLERCarol Ann Zeidler, of Eastchester, passed away Sunday morning, April 6, 2008, after a valiant battle with cancer. She was born in New Rochelle on September 20, 1935 to Anna Barth Zeidler and Charles Randall Zeidler (NRPD).Carol Ann graduated from New Rochelle High School, the New Rochelle Hospital of Nursing, New York University, Teachers College Columbia University, and the Barbizon School of Fashion Modeling. She was also an experienced horsewoman and taught for George Atkinson at the Wilmont Riding Club on California Road. She was a 36 year employee of New Rochelle Hospital, where she established the first recovery room and the Howe Avenue Nursing Home (ECP). She was active in community service, a former president of the Evening Section of the New Rochelle Women's Club and a board member of the Colburn Memorial Home. Prior to her illness she was working as a supervising visiting nurse with Personal Touch Home Care in White Plains and PTS of Westchester. She remained a member of the Larchmont Shore Club since 1984. Carol Ann has no immediate survivors except for her dearest friend, Maude Ann Polo of Greenwich, CT. Carol requested that any memorial contributions can be made to a favorite charity of your choice. Friends may call from 4-7 on Thursday, April 10, and 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday April 11, 2008 at the Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main Street in Eastchester, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 12th, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Larchmont Avenue Presbyterian Church, 60 Forest Park Ave. in Larchmont, NY.
