ERNEST WILLVONSEDER
February 23, 2008 Ernest Willvonseder, 85, a lifetime resident of Mamaroneck passed away on Friday 15th, 2008. He leaves his wife of 59 years Dorothy Wolfrath Willvonseder, a son, Ernest Willvonseder of New Rochelle, NY, a daughter Lisa Willvonseder-Greto, her husband Giovanni and their two children Nicole and Eric Greto of Sandy Hook CT, a sister, Julia Willvonseder Nelson of Branford, CT and a cousin Flora (Lola) Dudley of Mamaroneck.Ernest was born in New York City on January 3, 1923, the son of the late Ernest Willvonseder and Angela Favela Willvonseder. He graduated from F.E. Bellows High School and New York University. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII and saw action with the 289th Combat Engineers in both France and Germany for which he received two Bronze Battle Stars.
He founded and developed Lisern Enterprises and served as president until retiring in 2005. He was a boating enthusiast all his life and was a 50 year member of the U.S. Power Squadrons.
Committal service was conducted privately by Coxe & Graziano Funeral home. A memorial gathering will be held at the family home at 550 Shore Acres Drive on March 2nd from 12pm to 3pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Transplant Recipients International Organization (TRIO - www.trioweb.org).
