CARMELA CRISTOFALO
Carmela Cristofalo, a Mamaroneck resident, passed away February 17, 2008 at age 91. Born October 12, 1916 in Malvito, Italy to Giuseppe and Giuseppina Ferraro. She worked as a seamstress in Mamaroneck. A loving and devoted homemaker, she is the beloved wife of the late Nicola Cristofalo. Carmela was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Her concern for others was remarkable.She is the cherished mother of Joseph Cristofalo (wife Ninfa), Ida Molle (husband Billy), Marie Sproviero (husband Tom), Pat Cristofalo (wife Roseanne), the late Carmelo Cristofalo (wife Carolyn), and Frank Cristofalo. Loving grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 11 and dear sister of Marie Basso and the late Armando and Pasquale Ferraro.
Visitation Wednesday, February 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Thursday, February 21 at 10 am St. Vito's RC Church followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
