DR. RONALD JOSEPH WELCOME
Dr. Ronald Joseph Welcome, a Mamaroneck resident, passed away January 6, 2008 at age 75. He was born September 6, 1932 to George and Edith Welcome. He served in the Army from 1952-1954 and later became a physician.Dr. Welcome served on the Board of the Southeast Bronx Neighborhood Center. He was also a member of the Education Committee, Jazz Knights Inc and was an active member of the St. Philips's Church Jazztree.
Beloved husband of Gloria Welcome. Also survived by cherished cousins, Jimmy Welcome and Annie Wedderburn. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 12 at noon at St. Philips Church, 208 W. 134th St in Harlem. Donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society.
