FRANK FERRARIFrank Edward Ferrari, a 48 year resident of Larchmont, died January 7, 2008 at age 80. Frank was born November 18, 1927 to Emma and Frank Ferrari in Jersey City, NJ.At the time of his death he was President of Pro Venture Inc., an international advisory group with a major focus on Africa. For 30 years he was Vice President of the African-American Institute. His constant and forthright involvement with human rights kept him at the forefront of change in Africa's quest for political and economic justice. He had an especially close relationship with South Africa. Frank and his wife of 53 years Mary Selby-Ferrari resided in South Africa 1992-1994. He was considered the most distinguished authority on South Africa according to Anthony Sampson in his biography "Mandela." Survived by his wife Mary, children, Paul (wife Lynn Schneider) Maryann Ferrari, John (wife Jodi) Ferrari, and James Ferrari; grandchildren, Christina, Elisabeth and Michael Ferrari and Emma and Molly Schneider-Ferrari. He graduated from New York University and was a man of deep religious faith and values. He was a parishioner of Sts. John and Paul R.C. Church. Visitation on Friday, January 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE and GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Saturday, January 12 at 10 am at Sts.
