JOSEPH PHILIP FINELLI
Joe was born in The Bronx in New York State on January 30th, 1938. He passed away on November 29th, 2007.He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy, who was also his high school sweetheart; three loving children, Lisa, Joseph Jr. and Nina; his sister, Elissa Cerone; Two Nephews, Steven and Chris, their wives and children.
Joe grew up in the Larchmont – Mamaroneck area in New York and graduated from Mamaroneck High School. He joined the Army in 1957 and was Airborne qualified at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
Joe and Nancy married in 1961, shortly after Joe opened a printing business. They raised their family in Connecticut. In 1979 they sold their business to move to the Northwest. His intention was to retire, but in less than a year he became a partner in Aviation Supplies and Academics.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, pilot and boater. He will be remembered by his wife, family and friends as a loving husband, father and a man’s man.
A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, December 7th, 2007 at Flintoft’s Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah, WA.
