ELLA M. BIONDI
Ella M. Biondi, passed away October 31, 2007 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 98. Born August 2, 1909 to Domenico and Antoinette (Rossi) Mallozzi.Ella received her Bachelor of Science Degree from NYU and went on to become the head of the Allergy Lab at NYU Medical Center, where she worked for 35 years. After retiring from NYU, she taught Science at Parsons Memorial School in Harrison for 23 years. Ella was a member of the Woman's Club of Mamaroneck.
She is the beloved wife of the late Hugo Biondi. Ella is survived by her devoted daughters, Donna Phillips (James), Barbara McGowan (James) and Carol Hendrickson (Michael), 14 loving grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings, Hugo, Mary, Barbara, Emma, Dora and Evelyn.
Visitation Saturday, November 3 from 7-9 and Sunday, November 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck (914) 698-5968. Funeral Mass Monday, November 5 at 10 am at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church followed by Interment at Pinelawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Harrison Central School to be used for the PARSONS SCIENCE LAB AT 50 Union Avenue Harrison, NY 10528, Attn: Treasurer.
