DORIS ROBINSON LASZLO
Doris Laszlo, 90, died September 28 at the home of her daughter in Fairfax Station, VA. Mrs. Laszlo was born June 26, 1917 in New Haven, CT and raised in Mamaroneck, NY.Mrs. Laszlo was a longtime resident of Port Chester, NY and while raising her children was active in various capacities including Superintendent of Sunday School at North Baptist Church, Port Chester, NY. She was a Cub Scout leader, a Brownie and Girl Scout leader and President of the Girl Scout Council among many other volunteer activities.
Mrs. Laszlo lived for a number of years in California where she was employed in the state college system. She was a resident of Virginia for the past seventeen years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and her cats.
Mrs.Laszlo is survived by her children, Nola Moyer of Fairfax Station, VA, Timothy Grimes of Stamford, CT and Dorie Grimes of Massachusetts; her grandchildren, Noel Foley, Timothy Moyer, Lauren Josenhans, Todd Grimes, Amanda Ceci and Tony F. Ceci and five great grandchildren.
The Memorial Service will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Animal Welfare or The Diabetes Foundation.
