VINCENT PANICCIAVincent Paniccia, the proprietor of Vincent's Garage Inc., died September 24, 2007 at age 72. Born June 15, 1935 in Frosinone, Italy to Livio and Ersilia (Testani) Paniccia.Vincent opened his first business in Rye and later moved the business to Mamaroneck. Vincent is remembered for his community spirit. He served as a Lieutenant in the Harrison Auxiliary Police Department as well as the Village of Mamaroneck Auxiliary Police Department. He was a member of various Chiefs of Police Associations in Westchester County. He was a member and patron of many Italian-American organizations including the Columbus Day Society of Harrison, the Silver Lake Mutual Society, the Northern Westchester Italian Club of Mt. Kisco, The Roma Club of Bridgeport, CT and the Benevolent Society of Citizens of the Vittorio III. Above all, his greatest dedication was to his family. He is the beloved husband of 54 years to Filomena (Savone). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his devoted children who have also worked alongside him, Anthony Paniccia (wife Antonella) and Maria Lungariello (husband Michael). He is the loving grandfather of Michael and Veronica Lungariello, Mark, Matthew and Melissa Lungariello, Sara Ann Paniccia, Vincent Paniccia and Anthony Paniccia and great-grandfather of Michael and Vanessa Lungariello. Dear brother of Amerigo and Domenico Paniccia, Rosa Santangeli and Letizia Paniccia. Visitation Wednesday, September 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968. Funeral Mass Thursday, September 27 at 10 am Corpus Christi Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union. |
