KENNETH "POP" WATSON

Kenneth "Pop" Watson, born December 28, 1917, died December 11, 2006. He lived in the Village of Mamaroneck.

Mr. Watson was an active member of the Hook & Ladder Company for over 60 years, and was a member of Mamaroneck and Larchmont Old Timers Assistance. A member of the American Legion for over 30 years, Kenneth also was a member of the IOOB's chapter 2128 of Margrteville, New York.

He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II in the South Pacific with the First Marine Division of the Marine Weapons Company, fighting in the Battles of Guadalcanal, New Guinea, Cape Glouster and Pelilow.

He was predeceased by Mary C. Watson, his wife of 51 years, survived by his children; Barry J. Watson, Peggy Ann, Jane, and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, December 12, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at O'Neill Funeral Home of Mamaroneck Inc., 422 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, N.Y. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 13 at Holy Trinity Church, Mamaroneck; interment at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. O'NEILL FUNERAL HOME, 422 E.
