MARGARET (PEGGY) DYER

Dyer, Margaret (Peggy) passed away on November 19, 2006 at home after a short illness. She is survived by her husband John of 52 years, daughters Sharon D. Perna of Mamaroneck, Jane L. Dyer of Larchmont, and son John A. Dyer Jr. and wife Nancy of Larchmont. Along with her two grandsons John A. Dyer III and Michael E. Dyer. Peggy is also survived by a sister Mrs. Robert Hampton of Cape Cod, MA, and a brother Philip Neumann of Sarasota FL.

She was born and raised in Scarsdale, attended Scarsdale schools and graduated from Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. After college she worked for the Arabian American Oil Co. in New York City and also June Elizabeth in Larchmont.

Peggy was an avid tennis and bridge player and enjoyed the competition and comradeship of all the people she played with. Peggy and her husband traveled extensively through out the world. Being a good traveler, she liked the sights of various countries and the local fare.

Visitation will be at Fox Funeral Home in Larchmont, on Tuesday, November 21 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral Mass will be 10 AM, Wednesday, November 22 at St. Augustine Church in Larchmont and interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
