BETTY MACH

Betty Mach died on November 11, 2006, long time resident of Larchmont. Betty was the President of the Larchmont Senor Citizens Center and a member of the St. Augustine Senior Group.

She was the recipient of a multitude of proclamations from local politicians some of whom where Ken Bialo (former Mayo of Larchmont), Valerie O’Keefe (Town Supervisor), George Latimer (Assemblyman), Judy Myers (Councilwoman), Nita Lowey (congresswoman) and many others.

Betty will always be remembered for her tireless work for her community. She is the loving mother of Alice Farrell, Debbie Scharf (Eliot) and the late Jerrold. Dear sister of Herbert Haimes. Devoted grandmother of her adoring grandchildren Donna Farrell, William Farrell and Laura Mach.

The family will receive friends at John J. Fox funeral home on Monday, November 13 at 10:00 am until 12 noon with a funeral service starting at noon. Interment at New Montefiore Cemetery in Farmingdale. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Ass., American Lung Assoc., or a cure for pancreatic cancer.
