VITO A. CARELLI

Vito A. Carelli, Jr., Detective, died on October 21, 2006 at home in Harrison after a courageous battle at age 49. Vito was born in Port Chester, NY on June 1, 1957 to Vito and Mary Ann (Perri) Carelli. He was a graduate of Mamaroneck High School Class of '75 and served on the Village of Mamaroneck Police Department for 22 years retiring as Detective. He loved hunting and traveling with his family.

Beloved husband of Isabelle (nee Cangianni), devoted father of Anthony Carelli, Michael Carelli, Steven Carelli and Michael Petrillo. Loving brother of Salvatore and Dominic Carelli, Betty Carelli and the late Rose Ann Petrillo. Vito was a loving man who will be sorely missed by his family. All who knew him were inspired by the determination and courage he displayed during his illness.

Reposing on Monday, October 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 East Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Tuesday, October 24 at 10 am at St. Vito's R.C. Church followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery. Memorial Donations are requested to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Ave., Suite 130, White Plains, NY 10605.
