CATHERINE J. DEL GUERCIO
Catherine J. Del Guercio, formerly of Larchmont and Rye Brook, NY,
died at the Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home in Greenwich, CT on Saturday,
September 30, 2006. She was 88 years old. She was the daughter of
William A. and Agnes Maher Crotty of Yonkers, New York.
She was predeceased by her husband, Victor R. Del Guercio, former
Director of Special Projects for the N.Y. Football Giants, her sister,
Agnes Crotty Reinacher, and two half-brothers, John Foster and William
Hoffman. Survivors include her four children, Victor, Jr. of Larchmont,
NY, Lynn DiMenna of Darien, CT, William of Ft. Meyers, FL and Genevieve
English of New Milford, CT.
Catherine, a graduate of the College of
New Rochelle Class of 1940, was a devoted wife and mother, beloved aunt
to numerous nieces and nephews and a admired friend to all who knew her.
Viewing hours were held at The Graham Funeral Home in Rye, New York on
Monday, October 2, and the Funeral Service took place at St. Catherine's of
Siena Roman Catholic Church on Riverside Ave. in Greenwich on Tuesday,
October 3, 2006.
There will be an additional Memorial Service at The
Nathaniel Witherell Nursing Home, on Parsonage Rd. in Greenwich, on
Tuesday, October 17, at 3:30 pm after a private interment at The Gate of
Heaven Cemetery in Valhalla, New York. GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1036 Boston
