CARLO VENTIMIGLIA

Carlo Ventimiglia, age 70, of Easton, CT passed into eternal rest on Friday, October 6, 2006 at St. Vincent's Medical Center after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Carlo was born in Noepoli, Italy and came to America in 1947. Two of his sons predeceased him: John, age 40 and Paul, age 37. In addition to his wife, Maureen, he is survived by his son Michael and his wife Amanda, from Ashburn, VA with their two children, Isabella, age 6 and Jonathan Paul age 3; his daughter-in-law, Sandy and his granddaughter, Casey age 9; his two sisters, Pina Iaia of Princeton, NJ, Gina Viotto of Melbourne Beach, FL, along with their families and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many true friends and co-workers.

Carlo grew up in New York and graduated from Brooklyn College. He worked in Puerto Rico for five years, returning in 1969. He settled in Larchmont, NY where he lived for 35 years. He formed his own construction company, specializing in concrete. There probably isn't a bridge or road in all the boroughs of New York that he didn't work on. Carlo retired when his boys became ill.

Carlo moved to Easton, CT nearly three years ago to be supportive to his daughter-in-law and be an influence in the life of his granddaughter, Casey.

It was Carlo's wish not to have a wake, but we will celebrate his life in a Christian Mass at Notre Dame of Easton, 655 Morehouse Road, Easton, CT, Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 11am.
