WILLIAM V. MCDERMOTT
William V. McDermott, a lifetime resident of the unincorporated Town
of Mamaroneck, passed away on September 26, 2006, at age 67. Born
December 31, 1938 in Larchmont to Clyde Vincent and Mary (Houlihan)
McDermott.
William served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard after 1958. William
was a body and fender painter for Vito's Auto Body in Mamaroneck, and
was also a member of the Town of Mamaroneck Volunteer Fire Department,
where he attained the rank of Chief.
In addition to his loving wife Marlene (Fitch), he is survived by his
children William and Terry and his step-children, Michael, James and
Debbie (husband Frank). Adored grandfather of Jennifer and Samantha,
and great-grandfather to Frank.
Arrangements were handled by COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, in Mamaroneck.
