MAUREEN T. MACELROY

Maureen T. MacElroy, passed away on September 17, 2006, at Calvary Hospital in New York, following a brief illness. Born in New Rochelle, NY., she was a daughter of the late John and Ellen (Rooney) MacElroy.

Maureen grew up in Port Chester and graduated from Our Lady of Mercy School and Port Chester High School. She resided in Larchmont for the last 32 years.

Prior to retirement, Maureen worked as an administrative recruiter in Manhattan for the law firm Simpson,Thatcher, Bartlett, LLP. Maureen was an avid quilter, sewer, and artist.

She is survived by two sisters, Eileen MacElroy Chiappetta (Rocky) of Greenwich, CT., and Brenda Ann MacElroy Petrizzi (Robert) of Monroe, CT. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother James.

A Memorial Mass of celebration of life was offered at St. Augustine's in Larchmont. Interment was in St.Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY. Arrangements were handled by COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, Mamaroneck,NY. (914) 698-5968.
