CATHERINE SHERMAN

Catherine Sherman died August 26, 2006 at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas after a long illness. Born in White Plains, NY to Antonio and Maria Rose (Martinello) Mastro.

Before her retirement, Catherine worked as a secretary at the Mamaroneck High School for over 25 years.

Survived by her husband Harry Sherman of Las Vegas, a son Edward “Skip“ Poccia of Albuquerque, NM, a daughter Kathy Poccia Meller of Ridgefield, CT, a sister Marry Ann Morrone of Niagara Falls, and grandchildren, Christopher Poccia, Jason and Samantha Meller, and great grandchildren, Alec and Bella Poccia. Predeceased by her parents, her brothers Charles Mastro and Tony Mastro who was killed during WWII at Casino, Italy.

A private Funeral Service will be held. Arrangements are being conducted by COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME in Mamaroneck. 914-698-5968.
