DOROTHY TUTOLO

Dorothy Tutolo, 92, of Rye Brook died Friday, July 28, 2006 at home. Born in Mamaroneck, NY on June 23, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Anna Theresa Monti DeRuzza. Mrs. Tutolo was the wife of the late James Fosella and the late Daniel Tutolo. She was a member of the Rye Brook Seniors and was an avid crocheter.

Mrs. Tutolo is survived by a son James and wife Evelyn Fosella of Myerstown, PA, a daughter Dolores “Dee“ and husband John Portanova of Greenwich, CT, two brothers Mario DeRuzza of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Nat DeRuzza of Boynton Beach, FL, three Sisters Suzie Leone of Mamaroneck, NY, Pompy Poccia of Mamaroneck, NY, Liz Dest of San Antonio,TX. Eight Grandchildren and Seven Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Gus DeRuzza of Mamaroneck and a sister Phyl Muollo of NC.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, August, 1, at a time to be announced, in St. Paul's R.C. Church, King St. and Sherwood Ave. Greenwich, Interment will follow in Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. Friends may call at the Fred D. Knapp & Son Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave. Greenwich, from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, July 31.
