GERTRUDE RIGANO (NEE GIRONDA)

Gertrude Rigano (nee Gironda), a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died July 12, 2006 at her home. Born to Ralph and Gertrude (Lynch) Gironda.

She worked as a telephone operator and also for IHOP, and the Mamaroneck Diner. Gertrude loved flowers and animals, especially her cats.

Loving wife of Dominic Rigano. Cherished mother of Richard Rigano (wife Kathie) and Regina Curtis (husband Keith). Devoted grandmother of Sarah and Lisa Rigano, Allie, Chrissy and David Curtis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by siblings, Thomas, Seymour and Ralph Gironda and Beatrice Gunn.

Visiting Sunday, July 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Monday, July 17 at 10 am, St. Vito's RC Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
