ALBERT HEIDEL

Albert Heidel passed away on June 20 at the age of 87 at White Plains Hospital. He was born in New Rochelle, NY on June 4, 1919 to Anna Heise and Wilhelm Heidel. On September 25, 1949, he married Gertrude Haas (who predeceased him).

A resided in Mamaroneck for the past 57 years, Albert was a mechanic at Johnnie's Service Station in New Rochelle for 54 years. He was a veteran of WWII, who served in the Pacific and in Europe. He was a life long member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in New Rochelle.

Albert is survived by one sister, Helen Piermont, of New Rochelle; one daughter, Karen Fontecchio; son in law, Alan Fontecchio and two grandchildren: Mark (21) and Megan (19) of Mamaroneck.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Chapel Service will be at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 24 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow will be at the Beechwood Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY. GEORGE T. DAVIS FUNERAL HOME, 14 Lecount Place, New Rochelle, NY, (914)632-0324
