SAMUEL DAVIS, Jr.

Samuel Davis, Jr., of Mamaroneck, NY, died June 17, 2006 at age 87. He was born December 25, 1918 in New Jersey to Samuel and Ruth Davis, Sr.

He was a member of the Mamaroneck Lyons Club and the Mamaroneck Methodist Church. He served during WWII as a Staff Sergeant in the Army.

Samuel is survived by his children: Samuel Thomas Davis (wife Nancy) and Susan Edwina Davis; grandchildren, Laura Mae, Douglas, Andrew and Jessica and great grandchildren, Noelia and Ethan. Predeceased by his wife Edwina (nee Harriott) Davis and a sister Barbara Hood.

Visitation Monday, June 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck. Funeral Service Tuesday, June 20 at 10:00 am at Mamaroneck Methodist Church, followed by an interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
