DONATO RICOZZI

Donato Ricozzi of Mamaroneck, NY, died on April 28, 2006 at age of 77. Born October 23, 1928 in Colfelice, Italy to Battista and Angela (nee Taglione) Ricozzi.

Donato was a Professional Landscaper and worked for Maple Moor Golf Course. A creator of all things beautiful, Donato was the owner of the most colorful and exquisite garden in town. He was known for his landscaping talent, love of family, gruff, yet gentle appearance, and his homemade wine for all to enjoy. All who knew him spoke of his big heart, and willingness to help regardless how difficult the tasks.

Survived by his wife Gina (Fraioli) Ricozzi, a son Mario Ricozzi (wife Barbara), a daughter Lisa Ricozzi-Shockey (husband Todd), his grandchildren; Jeffrey, Lori, Mathew, Callia, Michael and Melina affectionately knew him at “Ta Ta“, a brother Guiseppe Ricozzi (wife Loretta) and a sister Vittoria Corsetti (husband Sossio). Predeceased by siblings Mario Ricozzi and Maria Fraioli.

Visitation Sunday, April 30 from 7 to 9 PM and Monday, May 1 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Rd. in Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Tuesday, May 2 at 10 AM at Sts. John and Paul Church in Larchmont, followed by an entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
