MARY E. WILSON

Mary E. Wilson, a long time resident of Larchmont, passed away at home on April 23, 2006. Mary was born in NYC to Nora (nee: Murphy) and Richard Barry, originally of Ireland.

As a child, she sang on the radio and spent much of her time roller-skating in Central Park. After graduating from Cathedral High School, she married her beloved husband Paul in 1945. In 1962 they moved to Larchmont where they raised their six children.

In addition to her sense of humor and love of laughter, she will be remembered for her love of singing and was a long time member of the choir at Sts. John & Paul Church. She was active in the Board of Elections and was a real estate agent in Larchmont. She was also a member of the Woman’s Club of Larchmont.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving husband Paul, her adoring children Irene Amy, Paul Wilson, Mary Humphrey (Jack), Anne Dellis (Fred), Richard Wilson (Pat) and John Wilson (Marie), 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visiting Wednesday, April 26 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fox Funeral Home. Mass Thursday, April 27 at 10 am at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
