ROSEMARIE (RENDE) PHILLIPS

Rosemarie (Rende) Phillips, age 67, passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 at her home in Norwalk, CT. Born in Port Chester, NY, daughter of the late Frank and Marietta Rende of 21 Grace Church St; the wife of the late Raymond H. Phillips, Sr. of Mamaroneck, NY, she is survived by her three children: Raymond Jr., Lori and Lynn; five grandchildren, Victoria, Patricia, Cayla, Antonio and Julianna; four brothers - Peter, Frank Jr., Joseph and Robert; and two sisters, Elaine and Elizabeth.

Rosemarie raised her children in Mamaroneck, a parishioner of Holy Trinity Church, a member for many years of the Ladies Guild, Emblem Club, and volunteered in many local charities.

Rosemarie battled many years of cancer beating the odds time and time again. But, at this young age, she was unable to put up the fight against this terrible disease any longer. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Rosemarie, a loving mother, sibling and friend is now with her mother in a better place - no longer suffering. She will be missed by everyone.

The family will be receiving calls for one evening on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 4 to 8 PM at O'Neill's Funeral Home, 422 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 10 AM, at Most Holy Trinity Church, 320 E. Boston Post Rd., Mamaroneck, with a private family interment. In lieu of flowers, Rosemarie requested that donations be made in her name to: C. Anthony and Jean Whittingham Cancer Center at Norwalk Hospital, Stevens Street, Norwalk, CT 06856.
