CAROL A. ACOCELLA

Carol A. Acocella life long resident of Larchmont passed away on Monday, February 27 at Sound Shore Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 65 years old. Carol was born in Port Chester, New York to Mary and Joe Iacovello.

Carol graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1958 and married Mike on December 12,1959. After spending many years as a nurturing mother and homemaker, she went on to become the Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Mamaroneck. She retired in 2004 after over 21 years of service. She was happiest traveling with friends and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband Michael, loving children, Michael J. Acocella, daughter Sharon Acocella Sweeney, her husband Joseph and cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Sweeney. She will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.

Visiting Wednesday, March 1 and Thursday, March 2 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fox Funeral Home. Mass Friday, March 3 at 10:15 am at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont.
