KATHLEEN O'BOYLE FAY

Kathleen O'Boyle Fay died on February 14, 2006. She was born in the Bronx, NY on May 13, 1930, the only child of Helen Reilly O'Boyle and Bernard O'Boyle. Kathleen was a graduate of the College of Mt. St. Vincent. She earned a Masters degree in education from the College of New Rochelle, plus sixty credits from Hunter College and other institutions.

She taught in the New York City and White Plains public schools for twenty-seven years. Kathleen was a volunteer for the Hospice of Westchester, the Portchester and Sarah Neumann Nursing Homes and the Grey Friars. She was also a member of the National Program Committee of the Christian Family Movement.

Kathleen is survived by her husband; Gabriel V. Fay and four children; Patrick Fay, Maureen Fay Chavez, Kathleen Fay Wisehart and Virginia Loughman and ten grandchildren.

Visiting, Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at John J. Fox Funeral Home, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 11am at Sts. John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver Street in Larchmont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Westchester.
