WILLIAM J. HOFFMANN

William J. Hoffmann, Jr., long associated with broadcasting, advertising and musical activities died February 3, 2006. He was 91 years old and resided for many years in Larchmont, NY.

Mr. Hoffmann had been affiliated with NBC, BBDO Inc. among other media organizations as well as being active musically in many orchestral and operatic ventures reflecting a life long interest and participation in music. During World War II, he, served in the Armed Forces Radio Service. For forty years, he remained founder and Conductor of the Fountain Square Brass, and Artistic Consultant and Liaison to the Arts.

Mr. Hoffmann is survived by his wife, Judith Telep-Ehrlich, international opera singer, son William J. Hoffmann III and daughter Elizabeth Patricia Hoffmann, and George S. Hoffmann, brother, of Winter Harbor, Maine.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday morning February 9, 2006 at St. John's Episcopal Church, Fountain Square in Larchmont, NY at 10:00 am.
