STANLEY H. MILLER

Stanley H. Miller, Jr., passed away on February 2, 2006 after a short illness, he was 75 years old. Stanley was the son of Stanley and Agnes Humphrey H. Miller and was born on June 23, 1930 in Larchmont, New York. He was a graduate of the Mamaroneck High School, Empire State College and attended Parsons School of Design.

Stanley was a Korean War Veteran and was stationed in Okinawa and was honorably discharged in September of 1952. He worked at one time for Pretice Hall in New Jersey and most recently for the state armory in Orangeburg and Peekskill. He was a member of the Sound Shore Audubon Society and the New Rochelle Art Association and was an active member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in Mamaroneck.

Mr. Miller was predeceased by his first wife, Barbara Drechsel and his brother, David. He is survived by his wife Harriet ( Betty) Childs, daughter, Melinda Lucena, grandson Jason and sister, Anne Dean.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 4 at 2:00 pm. Family will visit with friends from 1:00 pm at George T. Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions would be appreciated to the First Church of Christ Scientist, 155 Fenimore Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543.
