ROSE LUCY SAPORITO

Rose Lucy Saporito, of Larchmont, died January 18, 2006 at her home. She was 81. Born December 13, 1924 in Mamaroneck to Domenick and Josephine (Mirabella) Loiaconi. She worked as a supervisor for the Salesian Missions in New Rochelle.

Loving wife of the late Anthony “Ted“ Saporito. Survived by her children: Tony Saporito (wife Jeanne) and Joanne Saporito. Grandmother of Patrick, Matthew, John, Thomas, Kevin, Jake, Maura, Claire and Faith. Also survived by a sister Caroline Medico (husband Lenny), sister-in-law Annette Loiaconi and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers: Stephen and Anthony Loiaconi.

Visitation Thursday, January 19 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, COXE & GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. Funeral Mass Friday, January 20 at 11 am, Sts. John and Paul RC Church, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Sts. John & Paul RC Church or St. Anthony's Chapel in the Philippines, c/o Salesians Mission in New Rochelle.
